About the team 

The Strategic Partnerships team tackles partnerships that drive key revenue growth areas for the business with impact across all segments. We are in the Chief Strategy Office that works on Worldpay’s most important partnerships – analyzing where we need to partner, identifying and assessing key partnership opportunities, structuring commercial deals, and where needed, managing partner relationships. This role will be focused on our Product Partnerships in particular, looking at partners who can bring additional value to existing and new merchants through new and interesting technology and services.  

What you will be doing 

The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships does the following activities: 

  • Develop and execute partner strategy: analyze internal capabilities and external market factors to determine where we need to partner, who to partner with, how to structure partnerships, etc. 

  • Lead all aspects of deal execution with support: identifying and prioritizing targets, business case development, deal structuring, negotiating terms and contracts, and closing 

  • Collaborate across segments: liaise with Product, Sales, Commercial and Strategy teams and other areas of the business to gather input and ensure alignment on the partners we pursue 

  • Build deep market knowledge through the ability to evaluate product offerings, utilize data and creatively find/use insights from internal and external sources

  • Ensure the success of partnerships and work with the partner and stakeholders at Worldpay to launch and grow the partnership
