What will you be doing?

Our Center of Excellence team is currently seeking a Senior Manager to be responsible for fielding and managing retail analytics projects. This includes managing the pipeline of analytical requests from our retailer partners and account teams, contributing to Thought Leadership and other internal initiatives. This individual will be engaged on some of Circana’s most exciting projects including but not limited to: Industry / Category / Brand Deep Dives, onboarding and training clients on how to find growth opportunities and presenting insights to our internal and external clients.  As a Senior Manager, you will be working with the most diverse datasets at Circana and using cutting edge BI tools to tell the most compelling stories with data.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Autonomously manage a queue of project requests, recurring reporting, overlapping deadlines, and shifting project scopes. Ensuring all requests are delivered on-time and accurately.
  • Efficiently export data, analyze the results, and deliver in the requested format – Excel, PowerPoint, and proprietary Circana tools.
  • Derive insights that help frame up and add value to the Circana data.
  • Present findings in internal touch-bases and collaborative meetings. Joining client calls where appropriate and aiding in the account manager’s presentation of data findings.
  • Cultivate a broad understanding of retail trends, Circana datasets, capabilities, limitations, and how they work together.
  • Take ownership of the approach to project fulfillment – strategizing on efficiencies, improved accuracy, or more meaningful insights.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in market research, analytics, category management, or equivalent.
  • Superior analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications.
  • Experience with syndicated data.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, or other analytic related fields.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote role with limited travel (<10 days per year)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The salary range for this role is $84,000 to $115,000.
