The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

The Senior Manager, Learning Systems & Enablement will enable key talent development and performance management systems across RTX’s business units (BU) and 185,000+ employees worldwide. This role supports a comprehensive talent management strategy that focuses on the learning and development of various segments of employees throughout the enterprise. The senior manager will be responsible for managing RTX talent development resources and ensuring enablement and accessibility to learning materials and software for all employees.

This position reports directly to the Director, Learning and Development (L&D) and will work closely with other talent development and learning (TD&L) and business unit (BU) talent teams in achieving organizational objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the execution of advanced Workday solutions in alignment with talent and performance management processes across the enterprise; serve as a Workday consultant for TD&L and RTX talent teams.
  • Actively partner with HR Technology team, Workforce Intelligence Team and various technology stakeholders to drive learning technology efficiencies.
  • Manage projects from end-to-end including project planning, benchmarking, stakeholder identification and analysis, communications, and timely deliverables.
  • Provide support and coordination for related talent management projects and initiatives, ensuring cooperation and alignment across the talent organization.
  • Oversee talent management software systems and ensure functionality and accessibility for all employee groups.
  • Leverage Workday management systems to assess workforce learning and development gaps and prepare advanced solutions to meet organizational needs.  
  • Define and monitor key program performance metrics to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Collate information and analyze data for insights on effectiveness of management systems in facilitating global talent and organizational needs. Utilize data to recommend improvements.
  • Lead partnerships with RTX HR and Talent COE teams to effectively link learning, talent management systems to performance management and metrics to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Proactively collaborate with TD&L, BU and HR teams to communicate learning solutions to various audiences, including senior and executive leaders, within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Research externally for latest talent technologies and present business cases for continued innovation to internal systems and processes.
  • Travel up to 30%.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Relevant experience in Human Resources, Learning, Talent Development and/or Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to aggregate and utilize data to influence decisions.
  • Proficiency with Workday functionality.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

  • Project or program management, organization, and the ability to deliver timely, quality projects.

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating agility and flexibility, with minimal supervision.

Location

  • U.S based Remote position, though there's a preference for a hybrid role type from any major RTX location.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
