Your Responsibilities
The Senior Manager of Global Tax Strategy is responsible for the following:
Strategy – Co-develop and assist global and regional tax efforts in support of the company’s global strategies specifically impacting the EMEA region while working collaboratively with the Director of Global Tax Planning and Projects based in Waltham, MA with dotted line reporting to the regional EMEA Tax Director. Initiate and facilitate rationalization efforts.
M&A – lead regional M&A due diligence, structuring and financing.
Transfer pricing – Assist with transfer pricing compliance (functional interviews, transfer pricing documentation preparation (local files and master files), CbCR and CbCR notifications, etc.), as well as transfer pricing strategy and controversy while working collaboratively with the Director of Global Transfer Pricing.
Cash Management – Support initiatives addressing intercompany cash flows including repatriation, loans, and other transactions as identified through partnership with the corporate treasury team.
Strategic Business Partnering – Be a trusted business partner to Veralto’s operating companies. Regularly interact with designated individuals within the operating companies regarding tax compliance, tax benefits and risks, and the interrelationship between operational decisions/direction.
International Tax Advisory - Interface with external business partners and tax advisors to proactively monitor pending legislation, assess potential impacts and advise senior management on potential implications and countermeasures.
Legal Entity Management – Manage the establishment or elimination of legal entities, including maintenance plans and associated supporting documentation.
Advisors and Budget Management – Manage external advisory support along with budgets and timely accruals.
Process Improvements – Expand the use of technology and automation by making proactive suggestions to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Governance Framework – Support compliance with and refinement of established tax policies and procedures as set forth in the company’s tax manual and other interacting policies like the business change management policy.
Your Experience
8+ years of cross-border structuring experience, proficient in the international and domestic tax technical rules and regulations involving global tax planning concepts across the entire EMEA region.
M&A experience, including pre- and post-acquisition planning, due diligence, and integration.
Transfer pricing and supply chain planning a plus.
Good understanding of principles of indirect taxation , although not part of required responsibilities
Operational experience in a complex, global enterprise and/or experience in a manager or equivalent position with a major law or accounting firm advising complex global enterprises.
Bachelor's degree in Tax and/or Finance/Accounting, Master’s degree, a plus
Experience in managing third party advisor relationships including budgeting, accruals, negotiation of scope, etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Financing structuring and cash management experience in EMEA
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
High level of competence in English is required with additional language proficiency a significant plus, to be used both conversational and business technical
Travel 20% based on business needs within EMEA and the US
Must be able to lead and coordinate tax analysis in support of strategic initiatives.
Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity and will be non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all.
Ability to work with information that is highly confidential.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Testing compliance with a robust tax governance framework.
Transfer pricing and supply chain optimization.
Tax technology solutions, automations and transformations.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $165,000 - $175,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
