We are actively recruiting for a dynamic experienced corporate transactional attorney to join our growing legal team. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with all levels of management to gain an in-depth understanding of our strategy and services. He/She/They will maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, have excellent time management, organization, and decision-making abilities, be able to prioritize projects and deadlines, be collaborative, and accountable while performing in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • You will prepare, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
  • You will solve unique and complex commercial, legal and client regulatory issues with impact on the business unit or function and through conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions. 
  • You will review business practices and policies and advise management of potential risks and mitigations.
  • You will analyze various legal and business issues, discuss with subject matter experts, and advise business leaders.
  • You will support and advise business development and sales teams in creating and selling new products and services.
  • You will evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of our organization's business.

Qualifications:

  • It is required that you are licensed to practice law in the U.S. and a member of the bar in good standing.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as a corporate or transactional lawyer in a top tier law firm or part of that experience in a relevant in-house services practice.
  • J.D. from a top tier law school
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation experience is required.
  • Requires ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements; solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business; contribute to the development of functional strategy; lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
  • Experience with data privacy and laws and regulations related to privacy a plus.
  • Skilled at communicating, both verbally and in writing, with customers and at the senior leadership-level.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to participate as a member of a team, assisting in other projects as needed or as assigned.

Salary Range: $140,000 to $145,000 Annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
