Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join our G&A finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

Responsibilities
Drive Atlassian’s forecasting, annual planning and financial long-range planning for the Finance, Legal and Talent Acquisition organizations as the key business partner.
Provide monthly and quarterly reporting that is succinct, consistent & insightful, providing leaders with the insights they need to drive financial results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
Assist in driving finance optimization efforts to help build a world-class FP&A organization by developing, standardizing, maintaining and driving continuous improvement in planning and forecasting processes
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects such as efficiency of spend so that we can partner with the business to measure and deliver operational improvements for G&A as a percentage of revenue.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years experience in FP&A or finance related roles
Experience with planning and budgeting processes, financial forecasting, P&L management, interpreting and reporting business performance results
Prior software sector experience is highly preferred; Cloud/SaaS is a strong plus.
Anaplan or other Enterprise planning tools experience is required
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling
Strong technical fundamentals - excel/G-suite, database and data warehousing concepts and finance systems (CRM & ERP)
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA and/or CPA is a plus
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $135,300 - $180,400
Zone B: $121,700 - $162,300
Zone C: $112,300 - $149,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
