As a Regional Marketing Specialist, Northeast at dbt Labs, you will be responsible for designing and executing the marketing plan for your assigned region. You will collaborate closely with regional marketing and sales leaders to grow our local markets and represent the dbt brand on the ground via various types of campaigns. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth, travel with your team, and grow your path as a demand-focused marketer.

There is a regional component to this role and is open to candidates based on the East Coast of the United States.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Strategize, plan, execute, manage, and optimize end-to-end field & partner marketing programs for your region across the full marketing spectrum such as trade shows, partner conferences, regional dbt field events and roadshows.
  • Collaborate with sales, sales development, and global demand and digital marketing teams acting as the key point of contact for marketing activities that support your region and pipeline targets
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing stakeholders in your region to ensure event follow-up is happening that delivers pipeline targets each quarter.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs you run, monitor ongoing results, and present learnings/results to your team.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of regional and global campaign effectiveness in your region providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment between marketing and sales initiatives, optimize lead management processes, and drive revenue growth.
  • Travel to represent dbt Labs at in person events throughout your assigned region.

You are a good fit if you have:

  • Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
  • 5+ years of B2B Software Marketing Experience
  • Can demonstrate previous event execution experience
  • Have had experiences using marketing automation platforms like Hubspot, CRM systems like Salesforce, or event platforms like Splash
  • Are a master project manager
  • Willingness and ability to travel on a monthly basis
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving data-driven success
  • Are physically located on the east coast of the United States

You'll have an edge if you have:

  • Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with sales management, sales teams and marketing stakeholders, driving collaborative efforts to achieve shared goals
  • ABM or vertical marketing experience
  • Experience on a GTM team for an open source product
  • Experience building marketing campaigns designed for an executive audience
  • Broad set of marketing skills across areas including demand gen, digital, social, events, and campaigns

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and where applicable, performance-based pay. Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions around dbt Lab’s total rewards during your interview process.

    In select locations (including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Seattle), an alternate range may apply, as specified below.

    - The typical starting OTE range for this role is:
    $96,000 -- $116,100 USD OTE (80% base salary / 20% variable compensation)

    - The typical starting OTE range for this role in the select locations listed is:
    $106,000 -- $129,000 USD OTE (80% base salary / 20% variable compensation)
