About the role
The Event Services Team Center of Excellence’s mission is to partner with our clients to help them build thriving cultures and achieve company goals through creatively curated and expertly planned in-person experiences.
As a Senior Event Specialist, you will contribute to this mission by planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events with exceptional customer service, unwavering adaptability to changing client needs, and a strong focus on exceeding team goals.

- Meet and exceed NPS and CSAT targets
- Event budget management that protects and improves margins
- Improve client retention through exceptional planning across owned accounts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with internal event team to design, plan, and execute client events
- Develop detailed event strategies, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships, ensuring top-tier service within budget constraints
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the planning process
- Go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving client retention and referrals
- Follow and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize event planning processes
- Provide feedback to enhance tools, systems, and workflows, contributing to our mission of building a scalable and tech-enabled organization
- Meet or exceed event booking and profit margin goals, including upselling additional services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end event management including sourcing, vendor management, planning, coordination, execution, and budget management.
- 3+ years of practical and technical expertise in management best practices
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with vendors and venues
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Excelling project management skills and experience managing a high volume of tasks
- Strong executive presence and ability to present information to a variety of senior leaders
- Proven ability to be creative and innovative in planning in-person events
- Hospitality experience is highly preferred

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 3-4 nights of travel per quarter for this role.
Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:
- Base: $60,000 - $80,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
- Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
- Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
