The Senior Event Producer’s role is to ensure that all aspects of our event programs are successfully delivered to the standards of both our agency and our customers. Along with being accountable for the fiscal health of the program and for communicating effectively with the team and the customer, the Senior Producer will execute medium to large size programs including sales meetings, town halls, training meetings, awards shows, product launches, and other corporate engagements.

 

We are seeking a well-connected creative production professional with a deep bench of industry contacts and experience, and at least 6 years of experience in corporate live events, experiences, and media production.

As a Senior Event Producer, you will do the following: 

 

Client Management

  • Lead the customer relationship for the agency
  • Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, ensuring that all customers’ needs are heard, understood, and addressed in an effective and timely manner
  • Participate in the design, development, and sales of creative event solutions that leverage internal agency offerings and drive home customer objectives
  • Guide the development, writing, and presentation of new business and existing customer proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and staffing plans as they relate to our event programs
  • Ensure clear communication to the customer for the assigned program regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules, status, and action items
     

Project Management

  • Work with the Client Director, production manager, and other account team members to create program budgets and manage the costs throughout programs, keeping customers up to date on all incremental increases and on-site budget revisions
  • Generate and track contracts, SOWs, MSAs, and any other agreements with customers for work contracted to be performed
  • Create project milestones timeline documents and provide regular updates to customers on the health and status of an assigned event
  • Run weekly time tracking reporting to share with customers regularly throughout the event lifecycle
  • Develop and actively manage vendor/freelance talent relationships to ensure best available talent and pricing
  • Complete a post-event reconciliation process of program costs and pre-production time against budget for each assigned program
     

Team Leadership

  • Work with the Client Director, creative director, production manager, and content team to manage the entire process from proposal through execution using internal standards, processes, and tools
  • Organize regular internal team project meetings and manage communications between team members, guaranteeing all deadlines are met and all work is to our customers satisfaction
  • Coach and oversee freelance, junior, and/or associate team members on project delivery, customer requirements, and agency standards
  • Help manage 3rd party and freelance resources
     

Creative Integrity

  • Lead, manage, and participate in creative brainstorms when appropriate in partnership with the creative director and content teams to generate ideas such as event theming, opening videos, stage & set design, scenic elements, awards nights, and PowerPoint decks
  • Stay fresh and always looking for innovative solutions and production methods, and bringing new ideas to the agency
  • Ensure all creative treatments meet our customers brand standards and deliver on our internal creative needs

You should have: 

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale corporate events, broadcast, and entertainment
  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate event production experience, in a customer-facing capacity
  • Pharmaceutical, medical, and life sciences experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and emotional and social intelligence
  • You get along with everyone, and you aren’t afraid to have difficult conversations when necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Apple products
  • A strong understanding of:
  • Live event and broadcast industry practices
  • Event agenda & show flow creation
  • Show calling, stage management
  • Advanced understanding of technical departments
  • MacOS and iOS platforms
  • Digital meeting/webinar platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud suite
  • Basic time tracking & project management software, including strong timeline management
  • Operates well independently with a drive to set and attain goals independently
     

You should have: 

This is a remote position, operating mostly in the Central Time Zone
The ability to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally
A valid driver’s license and current passport

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Event Producer  is between $75,000 - $110,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
