*Required:
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, governance, or strategy roles, ideally in large-scale, complex environments.
- Deep understanding of data movement, storage, integration, governance, and system observability frameworks.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to establish data governance frameworks and policies.
- Strong knowledge of data management best practices, including security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API management, and data engineering.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align R&D and IT teams toward a unified data vision.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and execute in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and governance tooling is a plus.
Desired:
- Passion for data, technology, and experience with B2B, SaaS, or technical products.
- Familiarity with Customer Data Infrastructure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience shipping products with a user interface component with some basic understanding of design and UX best practices
- Experience partnering with product marketing or marketing
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel

Compensation
*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $$223,300.00 - $279,200.00
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $236,500.00-$295,600.00
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $262,700.00-$328,400
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
