Senior Director, Learning and Enablement

We are looking for a Senior Director, Commercial Learning & Enablement that will play a pivotal role in enabling our entire front office organization, as well as all of our customers, to excel! This position requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution to craft and support the implementation of effective learning and enablement programs. This Senior Director will lead a team to create, develop, implement, measure and improve new hire and continuous learning and enablement programs for our entire front office team. You will also drive the development and delivery of all of our customer-facing enablement, inclusive of coursework, webinars, coaching sessions and more. You will also be a leader with vision in the design and implementation of a professional services education offering for our customers. Through your efforts, you will help us to meet our commercial objectives from pre-sales through to renewal across our commercial portfolio.

You’ll Get To:

  • Create comprehensive learning strategies and programs that support the professional growth and success of our sales and customer success teams.

  • Apply a deep understanding of adult learning principles to craft engaging and impactful training experiences.

  • Guide a team of curriculum designers, enablement strategists and delivery specialists responsible for crafting effective learning and enablement programs including learning solutions, success playbooks, communications, and other engagements.

  • Supervise direct reports in establishing goals consistent with team and company strategy, build development plans, evaluate performance and mentor.

  • Run global commercial learning and enablement strategy across all market segments for each stage of the client’s lifecycle and drive product adoption through relevant content and aligned corporate messaging.

  • Work cross-functionally with partners and subject matter authorities to improve learner experience, build core capabilities, and drive business impact.

  • Design and deliver learning strategies for Lytx’s customers.

  • Design and implement a set of professional services education offerings.

Areas of Focus:

  • Curriculum Development: Own the design of comprehensive training curricula that address the diverse learning needs of our commercial team members. Develop learning paths and certification programs to support career progression and skill development.

  • Instructional Design Expertise: Apply industry standard methodologies in instructional design to create compelling and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and other blended learning solutions.

  • L&D Program and Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of learning and development projects, following a structured approach such as the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality retention and training outcome standards.

  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key collaborators across departments to gather insights, validate content, and drive review cycles for training materials. Build strong partnerships to ensure accurate, relevant, and impactful content and programs. Collaborate with partners to identify key learning objectives and performance metrics.

  • Learning Measurement and Evaluation: Implement robust assessment and evaluation frameworks to measure program success and business impact. Use data and insights to continuously improve and optimize learning initiatives.

  • Professional Services business building: Lytx customers want and need world class enablement content, often bespoke, for both staff and line employees. This is an0pportunity to design and implement new business lines founded in our IP and enablement content.

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of developing a collection of training content for a diverse audience

  • Shown experience crafting successful learning programs for sophisticated enterprise SaaS or technology companies in a complex team selling environment

  • 8+ years’ experience leading and developing teams in related field; Sales methodology experience in SaaS environments preferred

  • Experience designing and delivering educational professional services.

  • Demonstrated history of making an impact, developing and completing strategies and delivering outstanding results through a team in both the short and long term

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a variety of skills and engage, develop, grow talent and get results

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization; excellent verbal and written skills

  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex L&D initiatives

  • Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design or equivalent experience highly preferred. Learning and development certifications and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.  The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$210,500.00 - $265,500.00
