Position Description & Requirements POSITION SUMMARY:The Radiology Partners IT Team is seeking a driven, visionary and strategic IT Imaging Services (IIS) Optimization Senior Director to lead the transformation and continuous improvement of our IT systems, processes, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate would be responsible for driving resource utilization across the operational IT Optimization Team. Their goal would be to prioritize work on the critical problems, projects and requests. The Senior Director of IT Optimization will collaborate with leaders on other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of the Clinical Applications and associated IT systems. This role will work remotely and must have the skills to identify, communicate, and oversee the resolution of IT Imaging System issues to maximize the efficiency and benefit of the Radiology Partners IT team. This role requires a highly motivated team member dedicated to delivering value and exceptional personalized customer experiences.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team focused on optimization, client integrations, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that enhance clinical application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and digital transformation to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
• Collaborate across IT, Product Development, and Operations to align optimization goals and ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee system performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and optimization of IT infrastructure, software, and workflows.
• Ensure cost-effective IT solutions while maintaining system reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide hands-on expertise in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting PACS, Worklists, VNA, and AI platforms.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation to improve IT service delivery and business agility.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, career development, and continuous improvement within the IT team.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of Radiology workflows and PACS systems is required for this position.
• Experience with Clario, PowerScribe, Intelerad highly preferred. 
• Relevant certifications (ITIL, Six Sigma, PMP, Lean) are desirable.
• Strong experience in Customer Success and/or Customer Service preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with experience mentoring teams.
• Customer-focused with a proactive approach to developing IT solutions and improving processes.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to new technologies.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and align with enterprise strategies.
• Experience customizing client solutions and meeting customer needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

COMPENSATION:The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
