Senior Director, Global Sales Incentives

The Red Hat Incentives, Performance Management and Analytics team is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Director of Global Sales Incentives to join us. In this role, you will lead the strategy, planning, communication, governance, and administration of Red Hat’s sales incentives programs and deployment of associate quotas in support of the global sales and services organization. Global Sales Incentives is responsible for designing fair and accurate incentive plans and quotas and implementing them in an effective manner. You will act as a strategic partner with business leadership and provide excellent guidance and recommendations based on analytics. You will ensure we have the processes, policies and systems in place to deliver fair and accurate incentive plans aligned with corporate objectives in a legal and compliant manner.
What you will do:
Design incentive plans, develop policies, and establish and refine business processes and workflows to meet auditing needs
Communicate with managers and executives and collaborate cross-functionally with GTM Operations, IT, People, and Finance teams to develop and streamline policies, systems, and business process
Develop quotas and recommendations for management, as well as productivity and cost KPIs
Focus on the effectiveness and economic sensitivity of various incentive plan components
Assess financial recognition of contracts and their impact on an associate's sales incentives
Lead change management and communication of plans, policies, and procedures to ensure enterprise-grade performance
Build consensus cross-functionally to pitch and carry out new ideas and projects
What you will bring:
10+ years of people management experience, preferably in a sales, finance, operational, or analytical environment, including demonstrable experience working with and managing international teams
Exceptional business acumen and strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proven cross-functional leadership experience in implementing new tools and processes
Outstanding written and oral communications skills and comfortable working with and presenting to all levels
Ability to communicate complex plans, systems, and process issues in simple and understandable terms, and to use this knowledge to support operational activities and strategic decisions
Experience working with Sales Performance Management tools and familiarity with salesforce.com including sales alignment, territory planning, reporting and analytics
Familiarity with subscription-based technology business models and open source software is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or achievement at a recognized professional level
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
