The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Senior Director, Global Process Lead plays an integral role in streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of business operations. This position involves overseeing a team responsible for development, implementation, adherence to procedures, and performance of activities that improve workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks in the Record-to-report (RTR) process. By closely monitoring performance metrics and collaborating with various departments, the candidate ensures that the organization’s standards are met and that continuous improvement strategies are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Ownership: Determine and govern Global RTR scope and process design including the development and implementation of new processes to enhance productivity and efficiency within the organization.
Process Standardization: Develop and enforce standardized policies, procedures, systems across regions and segments, ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. Lead development of documentation and complex analysis of as-is and to-be business processes.
Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and oversight to the RTR team. Participate in cross-functional and company-wide initiatives to ensure accounting requirements and financial impacts are identified.
Continuous Improvement: Serve as change agent for global processes adoption and organizational alignment by analyzing existing workflows and identifying areas for improvement, recommending changes to minimize bottlenecks and streamline operations.
Strategy Development and Decision Support: Provide recommendations for the overall strategy for various initiatives and actions in financial processes standardization. Provide input for strategic designs and KPIs to better align with business goals and objectives.
Governance and Metrics: Monitor performance of implemented processes, using metrics and KPIs to assess their effectiveness and adjust, as necessary. Implement quality control measures to ensure all processes and work delivered by the RTR team meet the required standards.
Technology: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that technological tools and systems are aligned with process requirements, optimizing software and hardware to support workflow enhancements.
Change Management: Lead the transition management for process changes, ensuring that staff is adequately trained in new procedures and that changes are smoothly integrated into daily operations. Provide operational readiness support, including process-centric training related to system capabilities used in the operations of a business process, through content development and co-facilitation.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with SOX and industry best practices. Identify solutions to process gaps or risks to leadership to reduce opportunities for process failure.
Business Partnering: Effectively partner with operational teams to understand business, system or process changes that will affect financial results or internal controls.

Measurable improvements in efficiency, process, service governance, and delivery model.
Technology enablement, successful alignment, and integration of RTR processes within financial systems.
Establishment of a high-performing, motivated team with a focus on delivering value.
Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution AND ten (10) years of combined years of Finance and/or Accounting experience
4 years of leadership experience.
Experience in RTR process
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree and/or CPA
Experience in implementation of RTR in Shared Services environment preferred
Experience in RTR process improvement and root cause analysis
SAP and audit experience
Project management experience preferred
Ability to act as a change agent
Considers implications beyond own area across functions, businesses, countries
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Work location: Remote

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
