Job Description:

As the Senior Director, Data Products of our proprietary data product, you’ll be responsible for gathering requirements, leading prioritization, and running the Agile process that iterates and extends our industry-leading data offering. You'll manage a long-standing product that has recently been replatformed and primed to be our next-gen product offering. Support omni-channel marketing and advertising use-cases for global and national brands, you will coordinate with our partners to prioritize their needs while balancing available product development velocity. Your focus will be to support our current demographic and geographic data structures while also extending our statistical measurement, consumer segmentation, and audience modeling capabilities for use in addressable marketing use cases. Additionally, you’ll support our AI integration and extend our usable Snowflake infrastructure via native app and API consumption.

Our ideal Senior Director, Data Products has experience working directly with and leading cloud-based database marketing products. Additionally, you have a familiarity with data products such as Infobase, ConsumerView, TruAudience . You will be committed to people over process while ensuring that our Agile process runs effectively and efficiently.

This is a remote-friendly position reporting to VP, Product.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, gather, and organize product requirements
  • Document and translate requirements into Agile epics with measurable and testable acceptance criteria
  • Run and manage the Agile process, including daily standups, planning meetings, backlog grooming, sprints, demos, and retrospectives
  • Own and maintain a directional product roadmap based on business value and needs
  • Drive product lifecycle planning
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to plan sprints
  • Regularly communicate progress to the senior management and stakeholders through release notes and presentations
  • Bridge the gap between internal customer success and engineering to ensure existing solutions continuously operate and meet needs
  • Occasional travel to other Merkle offices is required

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as a Product manager running Agile processes, specifically running agile projects and teams
  • 5+ years working in and building products in the Consumer, Digital and/or B2B data space including: segmentation, data science/modeling , and/or audience creation
  • Fluency in geographic and demographic data types
  • Awareness of consumer data privacy regulations
  • Familiarity with data products: DataSource, Infobase, ConsumerView, TruAudience
  • Describe complex concepts with simple, plain-language examples
  • Experience with SQL and Snowflake for querying databases
  • Understand AWS and cloud-based architecture and systems
  • Scrum Alliance CSPO or CSM certification

The annual salary range for this position is $136,000-$219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
