This role will be fully remote through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in our dedicated office space starting September 2025. 

About the Role

Data Science and Analytics are the lifeblood of TaskRabbit, and we are scaling up the Data Science and Analytics team to provide key insights to drive our business forward. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join us, working closely with cross-functional teams from product, engineering, marketing and business to provide data-driven insights and solutions that enhance our products and accelerate growth. 

What you will work on

  • Be a strategic thought partner with stakeholders from product, business and marketing to define high-impact analytical problems, and solve them using different analytical and statistical approaches with data.
  • Proactively perform data exploration and analytical deep dives to identify growth opportunities in user acquisition, retention and conversion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure success metrics for new features and products, conduct hypothesis testing (A/B testing, multivariate experiments, quasi-experimental design and causal inference) to optimize product features and user experiences, and provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements and innovations.
