127 Public Square - Cleveland, Ohio 44114ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF): The Data Analyst (Data & BI Manager) is an individual contributor role that is part of Data Governance and Stewardship team of the Risk Management Information Reporting group (RMIR). RMIR is responsible for KeyBank Credit Risk metrics and reporting and the overall management of the Credit Risk Reporting Data Mart (CRR). The Data Analyst should have some knowledge of banking and credit data and can navigate the data landscape by identifying what the data is and how to consume that data. This role will perform data development and process improvement tasks related to credit risk data. Additionally, this position would assist in testing and communication of testing results for the Credit Risk Reporting change control process. As part of the Data Steward and Governance team, we help educate others on data and bridge the gap between business and technical needs. Finally, the position also will assist in the process of mitigating risk and curating the CRR data dictionary in the Data Nav tool. The Data & BI Manager role will proactively develop business relations and solve multiple problems for the business as directed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Proactively solve business problems leveraging complex data
• Leverage knowledge of KeyCorp credit data and business partners to anticipate needs and make recommendations
• Engage in projects and help to lead and prioritize multiple projects; manage to tight deadlines
• Lead business partner interactions; drive for results and provide recommendations in alignment with business priorities
• Effectively communicate with team and business partners; articulate broad implications / impact of messages
• Serve as mentor for our team and possible other data personnel at Key
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business and 3-5 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business and 4-6 years of relevant experience
Advanced proficiency with:
- SAS
- Query writing/coding including complex joins (SQL or BigQuery)
- Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
Understanding of:
- Source systems (loan servicing, loan origination, General Ledger)
- Process flow and automation
- Banking or credit data
