Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategy development, strategic planning, and operational leadership in support of Supply Chain Services. You will support the incremental growth of our Supply Chain Services strategic framework which includes Supply Chain Leading Practice Assessments, Supply Chain Optimization Solutions including Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) strategy, and our Interim Resource Management business.  You will lead increasingly complex projects to generate strategic insight, direct and manage teams, influence providers and deliver value.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support for the Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) activity within our Provider communities.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget and expected performance metrics, individually or through others.

  • Perform comprehensive analysis and evaluation of partnerships that will continue to advance our supply chain services solutions offerings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop optimal deal structures that align with strategic objectives and maximize value creation.

  • Identifies opportunities for continued collaboration with all business units within Spend Management & other Vizient business segments.

  • Combine data from multiple sources to generate strategic insights that drive informed decision making.

  • Frame complex business problems accurately and simply using a structured approach to analyze complex issues; identify implications of various alternatives, generate options and recommend solutions to reach desired outcomes.

  • Ensure successful and sustainable implementation of Vizient tools and technologies at client sites.

  • Initiate and maintain C-suite level provider relationships that can be leveraged to upsell or cross-sell additional services.

  • Provide business development support by generating leads or participating in the close of sales.

  • Craft and deliver communications with clarity and confidence to senior executive-level audiences.

  • Contribute to practice development by submitting knowledge capital, writing papers, attending conferences, participating in speaking engagements, and generating ideas for new products / services, etc.

  • Supervise, mentor and coach team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Master’s degree in business, supply chain or healthcare administration desired.

  • 7 years or more years of relevant experience in supply chain and healthcare required.

  • Experience working in a hospital operations management or service-line leadership role preferred.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing operating plans and analyzing financial and quality data.

  • Successful track record of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive projects. (e.g., work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules)

  • Ability to positively interact with executives, providers, and staff at all levels.

  • Effective facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Strong relationship building and strategic partnering skills.

  • Experience managing system / technology projects is a plus.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $223,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
