Summary:

In this role, you will lead consulting teams to deliver innovative supply chain solutions that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies for healthcare clients. You will ensure the successful execution of customized projects, meeting or exceeding contractual obligations, including savings guarantees, while fostering high client satisfaction. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with senior executives, leveraging insights to create, sell, and implement tailored supply chain solutions that align with client needs and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive supply chain transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering measurable results.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency, resilience, and scalability.

  • Design and implement program frameworks and business plans that drive value creation, improve performance metrics, and meet organizational objectives.

  • Lead post-merger integration efforts within the supply chain function, ensuring seamless alignment of processes, systems, and teams.

  • Champion organizational change, fostering stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and employee adoption of new processes, systems, and tools.

  • Partner with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, finance, procurement, operations, and technology teams, to ensure cohesive project execution.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address challenges proactively while maintaining project momentum.

  • Prepare and deliver high-level presentations and reports to senior leadership, offering insights and updates on project progress, risks, and recommendations.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. A master’s degree in business or healthcare administration is a plus.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Proven expertise in project management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), change management, and leading healthcare supply chain operations or strategic transformation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-phase programs within global or matrixed organizations, with a focus on delivering measurable results.

  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence and inspire senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and board members.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement operating plans informed by financial and quality data.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including facilitation and presentation abilities, to engage and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact, time-sensitive projects effectively in dynamic environments.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
