Senior Consultant, Chargebacks

Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing client relationships (interface w/clients to resolve specific issues)
- Responsible for review and approval of the setup and maintenance of customer contracts, pricing, and membership within Model N systems.
- Ensure pricing, membership, class of trade, and chargebacks are processed according to contractual requirements.
- Lead, review and approve deliverables to client.
- Oversee the receipt, analysis, resolution and posting/reporting of wholesaler chargeback requests and reconciliation documentation.
- Work with wholesalers and distributors on inquires and to resolve chargeback errors associated with pricing, membership, eligibility, dating and claims data.
- Coordinate with internal support to implement and monitor EDI 844, 845, and 849, and PDF reconciliation documents.
- Respond to customer and client inquiries regarding processing status, reconciliation questions, data discrepancies and payment status.
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop Chargeback and Membership Analysts.
- Support ongoing software product testing and new client UAT.
- Stay current and provide business guidance internally and to customers related to the life science’s Commercial and/or regulatory landscape.
- Expected to continually build detailed subject matter expertise and thought leadership in chargeback processing and membership management and share this knowledge with direct reports and peer groups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or other applicable business experience.
- 6+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with chargebacks and membership is required.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical discount contracts, EDI, class of trade and customer identifiers
- Experience working in mandated deadline environment; effective management of multiple client assignments; ability to prioritize.
- Excellent oral and written skills
- High accuracy rate and attention to detail; ability to produce client-ready deliverables to a high-level executive/professional client base.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required and knowledge of advance Excel techniques such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data importing are desired.
- Experience in and ability to learn standard industry systems environment.
- Able to manage multiple and competing tasks across functional areas is essential.
- Experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules and procedures by ensuring that all plans and activities are met with “best” industry practices.
