JOB SUMMARY
Cloud Operations is responsible for maintaining reliability, performance, and security of our multi-cloud infrastructure, enterprise services, and TriNet's customer portal.  Key role responsibilities include developing infrastructure enhancements, facilitating POCs, deployments/upgrades, and managing ongoing tasks.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities  
•    Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure    5%
•    Develop and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)    5%
•    Experience with AWS and OCI managed services    5%
•    GitHub, Stash, Artifactory, Confluence/Jira and related technologies.    5%
•    Strong coding skills (yaml/json, shell, CDK Terraform)    5%
•    Experience with leveraging AWS automation technologies (ie: trigger events/Lamda) to achieve operational efficiency gains.    5%
•    Maintain and support container technologies, specifically AWS EKS and OCI OKE.    5%
•    Evaluate new technologies in order to achieve business objectives and innovation.    5%
•    Create technical documentation as necessary.    5%
•    Provide support to compute and storage administration team.    5%
•    Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service.    5%
•    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills    5%

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree - preferred           
     

Work Experience Required/Preferred 

  • Typically 8+ years - using required skills/qualifications           

                      
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency
•    Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.     
•    Strong proficiency in container technologies including Kubernetes, EKS, Nirmata.     
•    Strong proficiency in AWS services/technologies; EC2, S3, CFT, IAM, SSM,     
•    Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible)     
•    Strong background in hypervisor technologies (VMware, OpenStack/MCP)     
•    Strong background in Linux operating system administration (RedHat/CentOS, Satellite)     
•    Experience with Information Security principles, technologies, and best practices.     
•    Experience with change management controls, SOX/HIPAA/PII auditory compliance.

The salary range for this role is $85,500 to $205,200. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
