You will be part of our Sustainability team, reporting directly to our Senior Director of Climate. You will play a pivotal role in shaping sustainability processes, influencing leadership decisions, and making a significant impact on climate initiatives. You'll be tasked with providing insights to guide strategic choices, and leading efforts to advance climate responsibility within the organization.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Climate

  • Experience writing SQL queries and ability to build visualizations (for example: Databricks, Tableau)

  • Deep understanding of GHG emissions calculation methodologies

  • Experience in GHG inventory calculations and sustainability reporting

Data & Insights

  • Translate various climate related regulations into data needs, partner with cross-functional teams to establish collection and pre-processing guidelines

  • Identify opportunities and work cross-functionally to align stakeholders and implement solutions to improve climate data availability, quality, and analysis

  • Data story telling: Analyze and interpret data through a climate lens, translate into actionable insights for decision makers

  • Work with data team and other cross-functional partners to design and build internal climate data dashboards using Tableau

Climate Programs Support

  • Model emission projections for various projects

  • Track reduction and offset measures, certificates, and run the procurement process

  • Project manage third-party climate audits and verification and partner with cross functional teams to prepare public disclosures as they relate to climate data

  • Support with annual voluntary and mandatory disclosures

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $130,400 - $173,900

Zone B: $117,400 - $156,500

Zone C: $108,200 - $144,300

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
