This role is in the US and preferably would be on the West Coast, but can be a virtual team member in-country.

Join our Data, AI, and Analytics research practice as a Senior Analyst and become a key player in a team of 5 experts dedicated to generating market-leading insights on the data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, analytics, data management and governance, and data warehouse technologies that are transforming enterprises with pervasive intelligence. Your specific insights will focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies and the interdependencies they have with the various fields of infrastructure, data and analytics.

This research practice is part of a larger ecosystem of expert industry analyst teams (‘451 Research’) that has been leading the market for over twenty years with forward-looking and data-driven analysis of the technology landscape. Together, we cover the full spectrum of enterprise technologies and employ various research techniques including expert market insights, end-user surveys, forecast modeling, revenue tracking, in-depth interviews, mergers and acquisition tracking, and face-to-face analyst briefings.

Generative AI is transforming all aspects of the technology stack, impacting far beyond organizational decisions on building, buying, and deploying technology. As an enabling layer, it relies heavily on robust data and infrastructure. This role will therefore focus on advancing our research in the infrastructure and data areas of the AI stack. Specifically, the role will focus on analyzing the critical architectural shifts required for developing, hosting and deploying predictive and generative AI capabilities.
