Role Purpose

LevelTen Energy is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional to recruit new renewable energy buyers, targeting the largest energy consumers such as hyperscalers, heavy industrials, and manufacturers to engage in the LevelTen Energy platform. As Sr. Account Executive, Key Energy Buyers, your focus will be closing new enterprise deals and building strong, enduring relationships with the largest players in this industry. Our sales team combines deep product and industry knowledge, with a commitment to understand our clients’ unique challenges and deliver innovative solutions. A LevelTen Sr. Account Executive is a brand ambassador, and a crucial part of the growth of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with your assigned accounts of the largest, most sophisticated, energy buyers in North America. 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies that are aligned with customer goals, working closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution.
    • Lead full sales cycles from prospect to close of platform subscription sales, with a goal of achieving an annual ARR target in an assigned account segment of energy buyers. 
  • Build brand visibility within the energy buyer community by attending conferences, building a network of stakeholders in the industry and being visible by speaking at conferences to attract new buyers to the LevelTen network. 
  • Become an expert in your assigned customers, championing their needs within the company. Represent their interests with marketing, product and executive teams, influencing our go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide up-to-date and accurate forecasts by actively updating customer and opportunity records in the company’s CRM system;
  • Support communications strategy, including PR, social media, events, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, white papers, conferences, etc.
  • Provide thought leadership to the team and company for constant improvement of processes, strategies and communications. 
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • 5+ years enterprise selling energy-related products to the large corporate buyers.
  • 5+ years full sales cycle experience with established sales methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger, Solutions Selling
  • 3+ years in renewable energy origination, corporate energy procurement, power trading, or energy risk management
  • Experience selling web-based software as a service (SaaS)
  • Experience selling to Directors, VP’s and C-Suite executives
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, both in person and via Zoom
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude, strong sense of urgency, and ability to see opportunity where others see a closed door.
  • Proven track record of consistent goal/quota attainment;
  • Discipline in regard to CRM use and detailed data entry;
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment;

Additional Details

This full-time position is based in LevelTen Energy’s Seattle office or remote. Salary and incentives commensurate with experience.

Additional Details

  • This position is preferably based in the Seattle area (3 days per week in office/hybrid)
    Remote candidates will be considered for the right experience.
  • The estimated compensation for this position is $145,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for commission and an equity grant.
