SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Architect

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with various SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Implement best practices for code development, version control, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BTP applications.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and features of the SAP BTP and related technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and train internal teams on SAP BTP solutions and best practices.

Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years SAP experience with at least 1-2 large scale ends to end SAP BTP implementation experience
• Proven experience with SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform, or similar cloud-based platforms.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in development languages and tools such as:

  - JavaScript/Node.js

  - Java

  - Python

  - SAP UI5/Fiori

  - HTML5/CSS3

  - SQL

• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and its integration with BTP.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration and API Management.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and OData services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, per ITAR compliance, to work within a controlled goods program environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience, with at least 7 years in the industry and 3 years focused on SAP BTP architecture.
• Strong background in SAP Services, specifically with experience in designing and implementing SAP BTP solutions, including integration scenarios, extension development, and SAP Cloud Platform environment.
• Proven expertise in consulting with a track record of successful project leadership in complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of consulting methodologies, industry trends, and cutting-edge BTP technologies.
• A commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
