Leidos is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join a high performing agile team to support a nationally significant development program. The program is using test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Program execution follows DevOps best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. The program provides system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support to a large, fast-paced program, and is developing infusing new technology and adding advanced capabilities while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for configuring Salesforce components and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will also analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, work in a cross-functional agile delivery team, support testing, deployment, and documentation activities, as well as troubleshoot/resolve errors.

To ensure success as a Salesforce Developer, you should have extensive experience working with Salesforce platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a top-class Salesforce developer can create dynamic and scalable Salesforce applications that meet the changing needs of the company.

Salesforce Developer responsibilities:

• Work on a cross-functional agile delivery team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements.

• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.

• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.

• Write unit tests and perform due diligence to meet acceptance criteria.

• Create timelines and development goals.

• Test the stability and functionality of the application.

• Troubleshoot and fixing bugs.

• Write documents and provide technical training for Salesforce staff.

• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years overall experience

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels. 

• Excellent time management.

• Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.

• Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint), preferred.
