ABOUT THE JOB

The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will serve as the Salesforce Subject Matter Expert for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training, and more. Additionally, the Administrator will perform basic updates, such as add/delete users, and adding basic custom fields.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all fundamental Salesforce administrative functions and tasks.
  • Act as direct contact for user groups and global teams who require configuration and maintenance of Salesforce platform, as well as advanced reporting and training.
  • Work directly with sales operations team to configure solutions that are usable, scalable, and maintainable on Salesforce platform.
  • Maintain security such as user accounts, sharing rules, permission sets, user roles/profiles, field-level security, content folder rights, queues, public groups, list views, and other setup options.
  • Analyze requirements and maintain integrations to our various business systems for Salesforce environment (HubSpot, Sales Cloud, CPQ, Etc.).
  • Create reports and dashboards around sales elements related to leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, cases, and lead campaigns.
  • Create and maintain workflow rules, process builder, flows validation rules, etc.
  • Manage, triage, and resolve user-submitted issues via ticketing system.
  • Work on Salesforce projects related to integration, security, contract management processes, forecasting/analysis, enablement/standardization, management of marketing assets, rep workflow, demo tracking, partner tracking, etc.
  • Works directly with Sales Operations team to define and prioritize system updates and enhancements.
  • Provide support as required for all 3rd party Salesforce complementary systems.


QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Formal Education and Certification

  • BSc/BA in Information Technology or relevant work experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical role, preferred business or system analyst with an emphasis on system configuration and design.
  • 3+ years’ experience administrating Salesforce.
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data, and software applications.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel.

 

Nice to Have

  • Understands the general concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations.
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool.

Personal Attributes

  • Knowledge/experience with Salesforce administration.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
  • Experience with reporting using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality.
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications.
  • Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Experience with OneStream Software not required.
  • Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.
