Sales Training Program Manager

Job Description

The Sales Training Team is responsible for ensuring the effective onboarding, and continuing education, of Sales, and Sales related professionals, within Blackbaud.  Blackbaud continues to invest heavily in the development of its Sales, and Sales related, teams and this role will ensure those investments deliver on our time to value and growth goals.  As a Sales Trainer, focused on Continuing Education, this role will report directly to the Manager of Sales Training and will be responsible for ensuring that existing AEs have the knowledge and skills necessary to increase their overall sales effectiveness.

Key Activities

  • Lead training program designed to support the ongoing training of recently onboarded, and existing, Account Executives
  • Delivering Ad Hoc Training(s) as necessary and may include, but is not limited to, assisting internal resources with available technologies
  • Coordinate enablement efforts with the appropriate parties to “pull the training through”.  This will include, but is not limited to, coordinating with SME’s from across the company
  • Leverage various learning strategies to deliver training to our global (US, Canada, BBE and BBP) teams including e-learning, self-paced, instructor-led techniques and certification programs
  • Assist in tracking and reporting the progress of our Continuing Education programs for relevant stakeholders
  • Collect feedback regularly and practice continuous improvement of the programs to keep up with the needs of the organization
  • Interface with Sales leaders and functional groups to ensure our Continuing Education program aligns with our strategic initiatives
  • Key contributor to implementing and curating curriculum, presentations, documentation and resources to support an innovative enablement program
  • Ensuring that all necessary resources are secured to successfully deliver Training

Education and Experience

  •  Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in enablement or relevant technology Sales, Marketing, Enablement of Sales Support roles in the B2B space

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Familiarity with Adult Learning techniques a plus
