As a Sales Representative (Solventum), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Achieves specific sales objectives by providing sales coverage of assigned accounts or within assigned territory
- Learns and begins to demonstrate ability to affect change and clearly articulate 3M’s value proposition such as gaining new business or competitive conversions.
- Utilizes selling process (can include social selling tools) to achieve sales results.
- Learns to plan and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities
- Position intended for individuals who are and experienced sales representatives and have demonstrated an aptitude for selling
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (4) years of in food service industry experience in a private, public or governmental environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of in food service industry experience in a private, public or governmental environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Technical expertise in plumbing, reverse osmosis and/or WQA Water Specialist certification.
- Advanced outside sales experience, especially in Filtration, Plumbing, or Kitchen Equipment sales
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- Experience translating customer needs into creative solutions
- Ability and willingness to prioritize multiple customers, self-motivate, and be held accountable for setting and meeting goals
- Strong presentation experience and closing ability
Work location: Remote (Illinois)
Travel: May include up to 50% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $110,762 - $135,375, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
