Purpose built in 2017 by ad tech professionals with decades of experience and a desire to make TV accessible for all, our client gives advertisers and agencies the reach, performance, and transparency to achieve their campaigns objectives. Our client is based in the US and now has over 300 direct relationships with streaming app providers.
They are seeking a Sales Operations Director, reporting into the Sales organization. This role is ideal for someone who can merge both the quantitative and qualitative sides of the business and who loves working collaboratively across the entire company. You’ll need the analytical savvy to focus on data and CRM reporting, database management, finance, performance, tools, forecasting, and processes, with the ability to translate insights into executive-facing summaries. Your expertise will help improve the overall sales efficiency, with a strong focus on day-to-day operations, lead flow, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations in a fast-paced startup environment, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across a variety of teams. Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Sales processes and performance management
- Own the entire process of tracking and analyzing the sales funnel from lead to customer
- Drive the optimization and support of our CRM tools (Hubspot and Salesforce): create/manage all CRM reporting, forecasting, and dashboards, manage sales data ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Recommend sales tools and infrastructure for optimal ease of day-to-day operating
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of sales processes to ensure consistency and efficiency and reinforce data hygiene best practices
- Assist in the territory planning and/or target setting process, ensure territory maps, account assignments, and targets are maintained properly
- Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that improve sales productivity and efficiency, stay updated with the latest tools that benefit the sales team
Revenue operations
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine sales and revenue forecasts
- Proactively communicate with leadership on sales trends, performance metrics, process improvements, and gaps in sales reporting and forecasting
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within active accounts and collaborate with sales team to create and execute strategies to convert them
Go-to-market support
- Work with Marketing to improve the quality of campaign activities, strategies, and tactics
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute promotional activities
- Track competitor dynamics and trends and package for the sales team quarterly
- Propose targeted marketing and operational optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales operations in a fast-paced B2B startup environment
- Experience communicating with senior leaders in a proactive and clear and concise manner
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce and Hubspot required
- Service mentality to assist internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product
- Strategic thinking around how we can optimize every process to be as easy as possible
- Familiarity with sales data analysis and B2B contract administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable managing internal stakeholders and customer relationships
- Pipeline management and revenue forecasting experience
- Ability to maintain data integrity, consistency, and quality in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong communication skills, sense of urgency, and willingness to take initiative
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all commitments and deadlines
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred

- Base salary of $135k to $150k
