Job Overview Summary

The Sales Operations Director will add value to Advarra's Commercial organization by driving and enabling operational excellence in our Sales Team. They are responsible for executing strategic initiatives to help achieve sales, revenue, and goals, drive efficiencies through process improvements, and build consistency across sales segments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, coordinating cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development
  • Partner with the Sales Segments leads in creating an accurate weekly sales forecast
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide improved sales efficiencies across the company
  • Oversee Commissions planning and Sales Compensation implementation
  • Implement booking process procedures across all Advarra business units
  • Evaluate sales technology and tools, developing opportunities for increased productivity and sales
  • Participate in team meetings, development/ modification of tools and procedures
  • Participate in training new staff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Accounting, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience overall
  • 5-7 years of sales operations experience (e.g., supporting sales leaders, sales analytics, forecasting, pipeline management, etc.)
  • Salesforce software experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities and projects, balancing accomplishment of daily operational activities with strategic projects
  • Demonstrated success in managing people; setting and communicating goals and expectations, measuring accomplishments, holding staff members accountable, delegating responsibility, keeping staff members informed, coaching, mentoring, reinforcing positive behavior and managing conflict

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $125,400 - $213,300. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
