The Role  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and support a high-performing team of Regional Account Executives. In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for driving net new revenue by coaching your team to exceed their goals, refining sales strategies, and optimizing team performance across a growing geographic market. 

You’ll play a key part in shaping our sales strategy, mentoring team members, and scaling our presence in the higher education housing market. If you're a hands-on sales leader passionate about team development and winning new business, we’d love to hear from you. 

 

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Remote, US  
  • Travel: 20–30% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.) 
  • Compensation Structure: In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for performance-based bonuses. 
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Vice President of Sales, College Pads.  

 

What You Will Own  

Team Leadership & Sales Execution 

  • Drive net new revenue bookings across a team of 3+ Regional Account Executives 
  • Manage and coach Regional Account Executives to meet or exceed sales targets 
  • Lead regular 1:1s focused on pipeline health, prospecting strategies, and deal progression 
  • Develop onboarding and training initiatives to accelerate team success 
  • Foster a strong team culture with a focus on high performance and accountability 

 

Sales Strategy & Operations 

  • Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve sales outcomes 
  • Leverage CRM systems and sales tools for territory planning, forecasting, and reporting 
  • Continuously refine sales processes to improve efficiency and scalability 
  • Support Regional Account Executives in navigating complex deals and closing new business 

 

Team Development Focus Areas 

  • Plan and execute effective prospecting and outbound activities 
  • Manage territory and pipeline strategically to drive results 
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations virtually and in person 
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects, clients, and industry leaders 

 

 Required Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of new business sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas 
  • Previous experience coaching or managing sales reps 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset 
  • Proficiency with sales technology (e.g. Salesforce/HubSpot) 
  • Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience in SaaS, PropTech, or real estate industries
