Sales Executive - New Business

Trintech is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sales Executive to own a regional sales Territory and sell Trintech solutions into this Territory. We are looking for dynamic, customer-driven sales executives that bring enterprise software and services industry experience. Candidates should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and demonstrate a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. We are seeking candidates that are experienced closing complex deals to Fortune 5000 companies. You will be selling into the office of the CFO and the office of the CIO. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of accounting and/or finance principles.
As part of our Sales team, you will enable our customers to automate and accelerate their financial close processes using the most modern and innovative tools in the industry. Our environment is fast-paced and exciting. We’re growing quickly by creating new solutions, enhancing our existing solutions and incorporating greater degrees of data and customer feedback into our offerings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with an assigned SDR to generate and prospect new opportunities into the funnel
- Qualification – developing your pipeline self-generated, marketing qualified leads and partner qualified leads, you’ll build strong relationships within the target customer to identify their operational and business needs.
- Close – with support from our legal and finance teams, you’ll manage contract negotiation and finalization within established process and approvals.
- Accurate and timely management of our CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Managing internal resources to complete customer analysis, presentation & proposals
- Expectation to hit quarterly and annual targets
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- A minimum of 5 years selling experience in the enterprise space
- Strong plus if you have successfully sold accounting platforms in the past
- MEDDIC methodology experience preferred but not required.
- You will teach prospective and existing clients the benefits of Trintech products and services, detailing our business model and value proposition
- Establish relationships with prospects and current customers by demonstrating in-depth institutional knowledge, understanding their specific business needs, and presenting an appropriate mix of our products and solutions
- You will customize territory and account plans
- Pursue, negotiate, and close opportunities, leading senior executives through a consultative sales approach
- Work with our client success team and partners to deliver specific solutions for customer needs
- Experience with corporate accounting, finance process and compliance controls would be advantageous, but is not an absolute requirement.

The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $97,500- $131,600 plus applicable bonus.
