Sales Engineer New Construction

dormakaba is seeking a remote New Construction Sales Engineer, Hospitality based anywhere in the continental US. The New Construction Sales Engineer is responsible for lead generation and early stages of the sales cycle to support territory sellers in closing sales of electronic access control, cloud operating systems and integrated solutions within new construction projects in the hospitality sector. They will also develop a pipeline and progress opportunities through the sales funnel while accurately forecasting revenue.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $65,000 - $75,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain the Salesforce CRM and associated systems, including contacts, accounts, opportunities and relevant fields for forecasting product needs for manufacturing and sales leadership
- Qualify and act upon sales leads within the territory
- Develop and maintain close relationships with new hospitality management companies in the territory
- Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
- Develop suggestions for new product ideas of features based on customer feedback
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of experience
- 10% travel
WHAT WE PREFER
- Hospitality industry experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Door hardware experience
- Understanding of new construction documents process
