The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

The Sales Engineer is the tip of the spear to get a prospect excited in purchasing Mavens software by listening to customer needs and then leading product demos (across the entire Mavens product suite) that showcase product capabilities, aligning product capabilities with customer pain points, and illustrating the value proposition of the product via real life use cases/demo scenarios.  

The Sales Engineer is also responsible for keeping demos current with latest and greatest Salesforce capabilities and product releases, configuring demos for specific customer scenarios/needs, implementing exploratory features/capabilities, and providing technical expertise to complete RFP responses.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Mavens, you will have accomplished…

  • Led product demos for Client Partners, Account Executives, Solution Leads, and internal/external webinars
  • A current demo asset for each Mavens product available within one business day of a demo request
  • Participated in RFPs across product portfolio
  • Served as the point of contact for new SFDC capabilities
  • Prototyped features/capabilities for high-value customers that can serve as a library of “labs” for both engineering and delivery
  • Partnered with delivery to transition sales discussions to implementation success

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Support efforts of the Client Partners to expand our footprint within existing customers
  • Team up with Account Executives to win new logos
  • Partner with Solution Leads to drive sourced revenue from our channel partners and through industry conferences.
  • Assist with completing RFP questionnaires and participating in the RFP process

What you bring to Mavens (required):

  • Strong SFDC knowledge and 5+ years of hands on experience configuring Salesforce
  • 5+ years Life Sciences experience, specifically in Medical Affairs and Commercial pharma
  • Strong presentation skills and great listening skills
  • Proven success working in a team environment within a SaaS product/IT services organization

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce technology
  • Fluent with the Salesforce ecosystem & mothership
  • Strong industry/domain network
  • Experience implementing Artificial Intelligence within enterprise applications

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

 

The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy. 

San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $160,000—$216,000 USDAll Other US Locations: $160,000—$216,000 USD

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
