Position Description:
As a Sales Engineer at PAR Punchh, a PAR Technology company, you will be a trusted advisor partnering with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the Restaurant industry. Your role is critical in helping prospective and existing customers solve mission-critical business challenges by demonstrating how PAR loyalty, engagement, and digital ordering solutions align with their strategic goals.
You will lead discovery, technical demonstrations, and solution design, ensuring customers understand how PAR Punchh fits within their technology ecosystem. In addition to pre-sales activities, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Implementation teams, influencing roadmap decisions based on customer needs and market trends. You will also play a key role in post-sales engagement, supporting Account Management with renewals and upsells to ensure customers continue to derive value from PAR Punchh's solutions.

What We’re Looking For:
3-5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting within a SaaS environment.
Strong consultative skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and articulate solutions that drive business impact.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences.
Proven ability to manage technical objections, problem-solve, and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.
Experience supporting both pre-sales and post-sales efforts, including customer onboarding, renewals, and upsells.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline); an MBA/MS is preferred.
Additional Skills:
Experience in Martech, POS systems, digital Ordering platforms, and Payments is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, APIs, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning:
Support post-sales efforts, assisting Account Management with renewals and upsell opportunities by identifying new ways for customers to expand their use of PAR Punchh's platform.
Lead the technical sales process, working closely with Account Executives to drive successful deal closures by demonstrating the value of PAR Punchh’s solutions.
Conduct discovery sessions to deeply understand customer pain points, business objectives, and technology landscapes.
Deliver high-impact presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating how PAR Punchh addresses business challenges and drives ROI.
Design and propose tailored solutions, working closely with prospects, customers, and partners to integrate PAR Punchh into their tech stack.
Provide technical guidance during evaluations, addressing customer requirements, security concerns, and best practices while leveraging PAR Punchh’s preferred partner ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal teams—including Product, Marketing, and Sales—to relay customer insights and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
Support RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
Represent PAR Punchh at industry events and trade shows, positioning the company as a thought leader in customer engagement and loyalty solutions.
