The Role:

The Sales Development Team Leader at Veracross will be responsible for assisting the Director to provide sales development with all the necessary tools and training for a team of 5-6 demand generation representatives. The role of this group is to help drive new customer acquisition and corporate growth by qualifying inbound marketing leads and engaging in proactive and targeted outbound prospecting.
The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of business development, performance management and team leadership experience, and have a proven track record of achieving both personal and team-based targets.
The successful candidate will enjoy close contact with sales executives in the field and a strong lead generation/marketing support group and will have access to the latest in modern technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate new prospects and nurture existing prospects through outbound phone calls and emails to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Responsible for meeting assigned monthly and quarterly (MQL) Lead qualification targets.
- Build new sales pipeline through the development and management of the SDR team.
- Participate in interviewing new SDR candidates, train, and assist Director to lead the team by providing coaching, mentoring and motivation with a focus on strong sales results, development and personal growth.
- Leverage your knowledge of the Salesforce.com CRM platform and Groove to manage and track team performance KPI’s and the movement of leads through the (company) demand funnel.
- Communicate team and individual performance metrics to management as required.
- Coach and develop 1-2 team members, assisting them in meeting their target/quotas
- Work closely with the Director of Sales Development to develop, manage and enhance key elements of Veracross; demand generation model.
- Act as a liaison between the Sales Executives, Head of Sales and sales development.
- Provide proactive, metrics-based feedback to marketing on lead generation campaigns and develop engaging prospect messaging tools for your team to use in the field.
- Collaborate and build strong partnerships with your Account Executives in your sales territory to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
Requirements
- 1+ years’ business-to-business lead generation perffered
- Experience, with a focus on enterprise sales and land and expand sales model.
- Strong knowledge of/experience with Salesforce.com.
- Proven success in managing a prospecting team for enterprise sales.
- Proven track record in exceeding personal and team-based quotas and goals.
- Ability to liaise with senior-level executive contacts, both internal and external.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
- BA/BS degree.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
- Ambition and a willingness to work hard are CRITICAL attributes for this role.

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $50k to $70k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.
