Sales Development Representative - Atlanta

Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company and we provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.

Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, Google, IBM and Compass.

We are in the market for Sales Development Representatives to get the word out about Vendelux with event marketers at trade shows. As a key member of the new business team, you will attend multiple events and conferences in major cities, meet with event marketers at their booths and get them signing up with Vendelux.

The Sales Development Representative role will report to our Head of Sales Development.

Responsibilities

  • Attend multiple trade shows each week in your hub and other hubs like NYC, Nashville, Dallas, Las Vegas and Denver

  • Meet as many event marketers at their booths as possible

  • Pitch Vendelux as a software solution for event marketers and collect contact info

  • Help event marketers sign up for new accounts and book meetings with our sales team

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services for event marketers

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of SDR experience 

  • Remote in one of our city hubs [Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas or Chicago] and able to attend many trade shows in person

  • Great team member who contributes to our culture and our business

  • Takes ownership and demands excellence from themselves and others

  • Likes a fast paced environment and is a quick learner

  • Experience with SaaS SDR best practices and tactics (email for post-event followups and general outbound)

  • Extrovert who loves meeting new people and traveling

  • Proven track record of overcoming challenges and showing progress

  • A big plus: 

    • Background in hospitality, events, or other people-forward industries

The base salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 plus commission.
