About The Opportunity

As a Sales Business Development Manager at Avaya, you will be responsible for managing strategic relationships with a key enterprise customers. Your role involves building strong partnerships, articulating a clear vision, and driving business value. You’ll operate at the most strategic level within the account, implementing a broad strategy to earn customer acceptance and ensure successful service implementation.
You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. Your expertise in cloud-based communication solutions and financial services will be instrumental in building strong client relationships and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Customer Relationship Management:
o    Prospect, Partner & Engage with the customer to build strategic relationships.
o    Identify and build trusted advisor relationships with key influencers and decision-makers, including CxOs.
o    Understand client pain points and propose tailored CCaaS and UCaaS solutions.
o    Coordinate executive business reviews and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
2.    Strategic Selling:
o    Sell at the most strategic level within the account.
o    Work closely with internal Avaya teams (executives, solution architects, business development, marketing, partners, enterprise support, service teams, and professional services).
o    Define a CXO relationship strategy within the customer.
o    Represent Avaya Solutions as a thought leader in CCaaS and UCaaS.
o    Collaborate with technical teams to customize solutions based on client requirements.
o    Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase value propositions.
o    Identify partnership opportunities with other ecosystem technology providers to grow the business.
3.    Leadership and Autonomy:
o    Operate with significant autonomy and discretion.
o    Make informed decisions during routine customer engagement.
o    Manage the sales pipeline via Salesforce.
4.    Negotiation and Agreements:
o    Participate in and lead negotiations and closing of legal agreements & contracts.
o    Maintain an operating knowledge of Avaya’s Cloud Solutions
5.    Product Insights and Requirements:
o    Understand and evangelize customer needs.
o    Provide feedback on product requirements.
o    Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop formal references, PR, and case studies.
 

About You

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
•    Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within financial services or technology.
•    Strong leadership presence and ability to command a room.
•    Strong understanding of CCaaS and UCaaS solutions.
•    Excellent communication skills (email, phone, face-to-face).
•    Experience working with senior executives.
•    Familiarity with Avaya & Azura services and solutions.
•    Sales and negotiation expertise.
 

Compensation

The pay range for this opportunity is from $201,800 to $252,200 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
