About this Position
Net at Work seeks a highly self-motivating, confident, and client-centric Service Engagement Manager to join our growing delivery team.  The Sage X3 Service Engagement Manager (SEM) supports service productivity and deal flow by representing service delivery in complex Sage X3 solutions. The SEM collaborates with sales and operations resources to ensure proposed engagements include service scope that accurately address client needs and are appropriately supported by key client decision-makers. The SEM is responsible for achieving service profitability goals as set by the Net at Work service leadership.  


Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Team and Practice Leadership in representing our delivery methodology during the sales cycle and assist with scope definition and engagement model 

  • Set expectation for prospects and clients on phased implementation and present return on investment for the prioritized phases. 

  • Gather and consolidate delivery estimates from Net at Work business units and third-party vendors to ensure a cohesive presentation of a project to the client or prospect. 

  • Collaborate with prospects, clients, and the delivery team in defining engagement model and delivery methods (right-size according to project needs), providing leadership and stability through the sale and the lifecycle of the project implementation 

  • Ensure that the vision for the project is clearly defined and understood by the entire project team, validating that it aligns with their business strategy 

  • Assist with transition from sales to delivery, ensuring that the delivery team has all information necessary for a successful engagement 

  • Manage all delivery related escalations within portfolio 

  • Assist in the development of go-to-market and sales strategies 

  • Provide excellent service and build ongoing, trusting relationships with clients to drive collective client and team success 

  • Measure success achievement with the client at go live 

  • Assist in writing case studies and seeking customer testimonials at go-live 

  • Actively represent our culture by leading and participating in efforts around continuous improvement, learning, professional development, and team building 

  • Maintain strong relationships with Sage X3 partner sales and service executives and third-party providers. 

  • Stay current with Sage X3 product developments, announcements, and programs. 

  • Assess, select, and recommend third-party add-on products and services that will enhance client solutions and profitability. 

  • Work with Sage X3 leadership team to develop new service delivery models (subscription, fixed) that will enhance profitability of the team and increase value to the clients. 


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in scoping, presenting, and delivering projects of at least $1M in service revenue 

  • 5+ years of direct work experience in a project leadership capacity including all aspects of process development and project lifecycle execution 

  • Strong understanding of organizational change management considerations for ERP or large technology projects 

  • Great written and verbal communication skills with audiences of all levels 

  • Solid interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside of Net at Work 

  • Ability to work primarily independently and concurrently manage multiple projects 

  • Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English 

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office

  • Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to periodically meet with client teams across the United States and will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

Base salary range: $110,000 to $135,000.This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
