More About the Role:
This unique and challenging ITSM opportunity on the U.S. Navy’s Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program will allow participation on a high-visibility DoD program that provides engineering support to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the largest information technology (IT) network in the world. Under SMIT, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

Leidos is seeking a robotic process automation (RPA) developer to support efforts for the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for full lifecycle development of automations to improve and optimize the services delivered by SMIT.

What You'll Get to Do:
•Design, develop, document, test, and deploy robotic process automation (RPA) bots using UiPath.
•Design, develop, document, test, and deploy software written in PowerShell, C#, VB, Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL.
•Troubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure, and system issues.
•Perform analysis to develop business process changes to maximize efficiencies.
•Perform analysis, trending, and forecasting to recommend improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
•Work with an Agile team, attend daily scrums, develop and maintain Agile documentation including backlog/requirements, task descriptions, and acceptance criteria to demonstrate working software while collaborating with a geographically distributed (remote) team.
•Frequently communicate and collaborate with other team members to ensure successful completion of project objectives.
•Proactively and independently identify, report, monitor, and mitigate technical risks.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires B.S. Degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience (in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant technical discipline). Experience may be used in lieu of Degree.
•Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret security clearance prior to start date.
•Ability to obtain a security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher, such as Security+ CE, within 60 days of start date.
•Full software lifecycle automation experience (design, development, test, deployment), including deployment to a production environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team.
•Robotic process automation bots development experience.
