Research Lab Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $12.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Duties include performing molecular biology experiments, performing data analysis, documenting experiments and analyses, assisting with laboratory maintenance, making presentations to disseminate research, attending lab meetings, and writing manuscripts. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

• Enrolled in a minimum of 1 academic credit for the semester of employment.
  Completed BIOL 315 Genetics
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
