Territory: Eastern Region of US (primarily MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, MA)
Base Salary + Commission + Car Allowance (1st year OTE - $110,000 - $115,000)

[Remote] Regional Sales Manager Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will focus on the eastern US region. You will be responsible for technical sales and business development in both existing transit market and emerging battery driven vehicle market, identifying opportunities for aftermarket products and OEMs. If you have a sales background in electrified transit or with products/components for high-voltage applications, you could be a great addition to the team. To be successful, you must have the ability to drive a long sales process, as project timelines can exceed one year from concept to contract. [Remote] Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities

•    Manage established territory in existing markets and develop business with emerging markets
•    Identify, develop & negotiate OEM and aftermarket sales opportunities 
•    Visit customers and prospects
•    Direct the submission of commercial and technical contract proposals for transit products  
•    Establish relationships with decision makers 
•    Collaborate with colleagues
•    Manage product validation process
•    Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and timely
•    Complete follow-up calls with prospects

[Remote] Regional Sales Manager Qualifications

•    3+ years of technical sales experience required
•    3+ years of electrified transit industry or high-voltage product applications experience required
•    Manufacturing industry experience required
•    Bid/RFP experience required
•    Willingness/ability to travel overnight up to 50% (domestic, some international) required
•    Driver’s License required
