Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET (potentially flexible)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000

About the Role

As a Multi-Line Claim Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a high-volume caseload of 300+ claims while directly handling 25-50 complex files. These files will primarily involve nationwide commercial trucking claims, including cargo claims.

You will ensure compliance with corporate claim standards, client-specific instructions, and jurisdictional regulations across multiple states. A Home State adjuster's license is required, and preference will be given to candidates who already hold a New York adjuster's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team handling 300+ multi-line commercial trucking claims, ensuring adherence to corporate claim standards, client instructions, and regulatory requirements.
• Directly manage 25-50 complex claims, including trucking, general liability, auto, and cargo claims.
• Oversee and authorize claim investigations, evaluations, reserving, and settlements in accordance with company policies and jurisdictional laws.
• Ensure quality control by reviewing claim files, providing feedback, and offering guidance to claim staff.
• Analyze and manage complex claims involving litigation, catastrophic losses, and coverage disputes.
• Monitor vendor usage (attorneys, adjusters, medical providers, surveillance) and approve expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate settlements in compliance with corporate standards and applicable laws.
• Develop and mentor claim staff, providing training, technical guidance, and performance coaching.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and ensure accuracy in reserve reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all client-specific and jurisdictional handling instructions.

Qualifications

10+ years of multi-line claim experience required, with a strong focus on complex trucking claims.

✅ Cargo claim experience preferred.✅ Supervisory experience managing high-volume caseloads preferred.✅ Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.✅ Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.✅ Experience handling claims across multiple jurisdictions is required.✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claim management systems.
