Job Description:
RM is needed to backfill transferring Sr. RM. $1.2B portfolio of large Institutional Healthcare clients, producing $10MM in revenue to TD, with strong growth potential. Existing RM's on the team are near capacity and not located near NC/SC market.
Depth & Scope:
- Works independently to develop new business with prospects that have moderate and large complex credit needs.
- Maintains established market presence
- Makes calls independently
- Gathers related financial and general business information, participates in credit decision process and communicates with prospects to close sales
- Prepares basic management reports summarizing loan activity
- Meets regularly with internal referral sources to establish business relationships and develops network of outside referral sources for new business
- Compiles necessary data and information to begin financial analysis
- Contributes and provides input to loan decision process based on evaluation of credit risk and other key factors from Credit Management
- Assists in the development of less experienced loan officers
- Helps support Branch Managers and staff and educates them about products and the lending process
- Makes or assists in sales calls, gathers financial and general business information and explains products and services offered
- Responsible for growth goals (loans, deposits, fees), both individually and assisting the team, through development of new Commercial Customers and cross selling existing Customers as well as an established network of resources
Education & Experience:
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years related experience
- Strong understanding of commercial business development techniques and credit decisions
- Demonstrates business development track record
- Strong market presence with wide network of outside referral sources for new business
- Demonstrates credit and financial analysis skills
- Refined negotiation skills
- Demonstrates communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates PC skills
- Membership in civic and professional organizations required

- Understands and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
- Considers the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its Customers and stakeholders
- Provides the highest level of Customer service when dealing with internal partners, vendors or our Customers - WOW at every opportunity

- Ensures that strategic initiatives and directives are carried out effectively with comprehensive change management strategies. - Ensures processes, policies and procedures are designed in compliance with TD Risk Appetite
- Successfully completes all required job specific, compliance-related training
- Understands, utilizes and follows Compliance/Risk and control programs
- Consults with all risk functions in the development and documentation of policies, procedures and controls, for all department processes
- Ensures ongoing compliance with internal / external audit and regulatory requirements
- Provides prompt and comprehensive response to all external audit, regulator and compliance requests and findings
- Maintains appropriate records of action plans
