Job Description Summary
Provides leadership, coaching and supervision of a field leadership team within the Transamerica Agency Network (TAN). Directs activities of the regional sales force to ensure growth and profitability of the Career Agency distribution channel.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Meet stated annual objectives for recruitment, life/health/annuity net placements, sales growth objectives, number of lives and average impact through volume of coverage sold, rep/agent retention, and management of operating expenses for the region.
- Serve as a liaison between the Home Office and field force; work closely with home office senior staff and employees to ensure the daily activities of the region are adequately supported.
- Build relationships with multi-level distribution channels throughout the organization.
- Develop field leadership in accordance with TAN programs to ensure the professionalism of the organization and the profitable growth of the region or other assigned territories.
- Onboard new branch management.
- Rollout and deliver new product and sales information to the field.
- Coordinate and host meetings and weekly conference calls with branch reps/agents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
- Eight years of management experience in the insurance industry.
- Five years of sales experience.
- Life and health license.
- FINRA Series 6 & 63 (or obtain within six months of hire)
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making.
- Experience with budget and expense management.
- Webinar meeting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Working Conditions
- Work remote from home.
- Extensive travel (50-70%).

The Salary for this position generally ranges ranges between $45,000-$50,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
