Thales is hiring an experience Regional Sales Director that will be responsible for all sales and business development activities in the assigned territory, with a strong emphasis on sales performance and sales management. You will provide mentorship, guidance, and skill development for your team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Day-to-day management of multiple Regional Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Major Accounts Managers in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Coaching the team on setting SMART goals, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting. 

  • Achieve the annual quota attainment assigned to the region based on the combined quota numbers of all assigned sales managers.

  • Represent the region and to provide a clear vision and context for market opportunities and regularly visit key existing partners/customers, actively involved in the recruitment of key new partners.

  • Drive achievement of sales objectives including sales volume, channel development and management, new business development and management of existing revenue streams.

  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams and ensure that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization’s long-range strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product management and other related parties to develop local pricing strategies, sales campaigns and any other tools required to be successful in territory.

Mininum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or another related field of study or equivalent work experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, quota driven role selling data networking and / or security architecture products

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience leading a technical sales team with a quota  

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce.com

  • Ability to manage time effectively in order to optimize productivity

  • Proven ability in Storytelling and excellent presentation skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office products, such as MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is based on $170,280.00 - $266,063.00 CAD Annual range. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, provincial, and federal laws.
