Deckorators, a leader in the outdoor living and decking industry, is seeking a dynamic Regional Channel Manager to drive our sales initiatives. This pivotal role will be responsible for and lead a team in support of our regional sales strategies, client retention and acquisition, and the attainment of regional budget goals and specified key performance indicators.
**Must be willing to relocate to the Southeast**
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing channel sales team responsible for sales within the Southeastern United States and Texas. Report directly to the Director of Sales.
Strategic Oversight: Oversee all aspects of channel sales, including distribution, dealer and contractor relationships within your region.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly product development and marketing, to ensure a unified approach to sales initiatives and product launches.
Sales Accountability: achieve regional budget goals and specified key performance indicators.
Event and Trade Show Management: Plan and execute events and trade shows to elevate the Deckorators brand and enhance product visibility
What We’re Looking For
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
Professional Experience: At least 10 years in sales, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays and occasional international travel.
Remote Work: This is a remote position, ideal for candidates located in or near a major U.S. city with access to a large airport to facilitate travel for events, meetings, and client visits. Preferably located within the Southeastern United States or Texas.
Additional Qualifications
Strong leadership skills with a history of team development and management.
Experience in the building products or outdoor living industry.
In-depth knowledge of channel sales strategies and practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various functional teams.
Strategic and innovative thinker with a creative approach to solving sales challenges.
