Infrastructure Red Hat Linux Engineer will provide support for our corporate infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for supporting across modules or systems and serve as a liaison between technical development team and the business to manage the development of system enhancements, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Install, configure, and manage LINUX Operating Systems
  • Configure and maintain OS Linux Templates for Deploy
  • Automation tasks including Bash Scripting and Ansible
  • Perform Migration of Linux Servers
  • Perform Hardening tasks to close Security CVE vulnerabilities
  • TCP/IP OS Management (IPv4 Address, Gateway, Routes, Private Networks)
  • Configure and manage Dynamic Resources on Linux Virtual Systems
  • Update ESX
  • Update VM Hardware
  • Perform VMotion and Storage VMotion activities
  • Manage and Configure VM Resources, DRS Politics, Snapshots, and VM Templates.
  • Deploy VM Templates and Clone VMs
  • Configure and manage ASM disks devices for Oracle RAC Linux Servers
  • Monitor System Performance processes
  • Support for Critical incidents, Problems, and Major Changes. (SLAs).

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Red Hat/Linux support and engineering
  • 5–7 years of VMWare support and engineering
     

The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:  

  • ITIL
  • Red Hat Cluster Suite
  • Ansible, Bash
  • LDAP, SFTP, and NFS  
  • Shell or Perl Scripting

Work Arrangement:

Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$63,250.00 - $97,057.13 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
