Avesis has an exciting new opportunity as a Recruiter in our HR Department. Our Chosen candidate will work 100% remote, collaborating with our HR Team, Call Center Hiring Managers, and other colleagues. You’ll assist with recruiting responsibilities in hourly, non-exempt openings, helping to drive cultural change through existing talent acquisition initiatives. In addition to high volume recruiting in our Customer Service and Claims Centers, you’ll also assist with varied TA and HR operational tasks, which may include (but not limited to) our background check process, contingent labor force, I9 processing, onboarding, associate file maintenance, along with other HR and TA operational duties as they surface and as your skill sets align.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruit entry-level, high-volume positions across a variety of corporate functions and business units.
  • Measure effectiveness of external and internal partners and foster those relationships.
  • Develop and maintain networks internally and externally to ensure a strong pipeline of potential candidates on a continual basis.
  • Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with business requirements and provide accurate and insightful candidate assessments and rankings.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed information on our organization, our business strategy, departments, and leadership.
  • Facilitate and shepherd candidates through our selection process by ensuring key hiring rationales are prioritized; collect and review stakeholder feedback.
  • Track, monitor, disposition, and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of our Workday Applicant Tracking System to ensure data integrity with metrics/reporting.
  • Maintain schedule/calendar of hiring classes, communicating deadlines clearly to all parties involved.
  • Partner with Senior Recruiter and HR Leadership with data-driven recruitment reporting programs that convey insights. Help leverage new and existing data on how we attract, select, grow, and retain talent.
  • Maintain relationship with our Background Check vendor, communicating any changes in system requirements, delays, or legal parameters; escalate issues to leadership for approval/denial of employment.
  • Validate I9s on new hires within government timelines.
  • Pivot and flex with duties, tasks, and projects in a “constant change” evolving work environment.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, i.e. possess good judgment with maintaining confidential information, assume best intentions from others, listen to comprehend, ask questions to seek clarity and respond accordingly.
